My aunt was admitted to ICU. Multiple organ failure, coma on a ventilator. From the moment I met Lisa, she has been amazing. Patient in educating family, gentle with her explanation while our family trying to process what was happening to my aunt. My aunt was so young and vibrant. She has loved her and cared for her when her family couldn't, allowing us to rest. I'm so grateful for Lisa's kindness and compassionate heart. She is so deserving of this award because she goes beyond the call of duty.

All of the nurses who have cared for my daughter have been wonderful, we have been blessed to have one special nurse, Lisa, who has been most intuitive to the needs of the patient but, also to the needs of the family. She has gone out of her way to give information and complete answers to the many questions asked of her. We have a large family and everyone has fallen in love with Lisa.

My mother has been in critical condition for 3 days now and I have stayed overnight with her every night so far. Each night that I have been here, Lisa has been working endlessly, to not only care for my mother but also to keep me and my family updated on each and everything going on with her while she has been here. Every time I walk into my mom's room, Lisa has either been right by her side or she was outside informing her fellow nurses about my mother's conditions. Lisa has made our entire family feel safe by knowing that my mother is being cared for by HER. Everyone in my family who has come to visit during her shift has all commented on how good of a nurse she is as well.
