Meredith Turner is a true asset to the Methodist University Hospital.
She was “pulled” today to 6A recently and she had the best attitude of anyone there.
One of her patients was to be d/c with a drain. She amide a temperature diary and rain output log sheet for him. She had already done this when I first began talking with her about the D/C plans.
Her other patient was a difficult man –meaning non cooperative with everyone. He was incontinent and soiled. She did not take no for an answer –she got him into the shower and cleaned him up and dressed him. When the daughter arrived she was amazed an how here father looked. She came to me to stated that an angel had been sent to her to take care of her father that day. She had only highest of praise for Meredith, as I did in helping me with a tricky discharge.
Meredith is caring and compassionate and deserving of the DAISY Award.
