The nomination for Anthony Justice was submitted by a fellow nurse who witnessed the warm and personal care provided to a patient by Anthony. The nomination touched all who heard it as it described the positive impact Anthony had on this patient with special needs, who as a ward of the state and did not have anyone to visit him.

“I just wanted to let you know that Anthony Justice has gone above and beyond as an RN and he truly needs to be recognized. There is a patient that has been here for over a month now. The patient had not been responsive to anything or anyone but showed interest in cats, hamburger, and cookies. He has no family. Tonight Anthony brought him a DVD from home ("Puss in Boots") and put it on the TV so he could watch. Anthony also got him a toy cat that moves and purrs for him to play with. When I checked on the patient, he was playing with the toy and was even talking to it. He looked the happiest I've ever seen him. I could not help but get teary eyed at Anthony's kind gesture.”
