My father in law was admitted to the ICU Saturday night with pneumonia and heart problems. His wife, my mother in law, passed away at your hospital only 2 days prior to his visit.
Once we got him to the ICU floor and got him situated, Allison came in and from the start she was amazing. She had been told about his wife and went above and beyond what she had to do. She really made him comfortable and that everything was going to be alright! Even days that she wasn't his assigned nurse, she would come by and check on him. Nurses' jobs are extremely difficult, especially on the ICU floor. But she went above and beyond and should be recognized for her hard work and caring spirit!
