I only had Josh for one day and I was blown away by his caring and kind personality. Josh is a fantastic nurse. He went above and beyond for me by setting a timer on his phone to remind me when I could eat again so I could take a nap. Eating and napping were the two things that were particularly important to me at the time. He was such a great listener too. I cannot remember what we talked about, but he made me feel comfortable and cared for. As a nurse myself, I know things can get busy, and sometimes it is super hard to have a focused conversation with a patient when there are other things to do. Josh never seemed that way to me. He was focused on the task at hand and my care. I know I probably was not his sickest patient, but he made me feel like what I was going through was important also. I was very scared to be in the hospital and with Josh as my nurse my fears were a little less.
