Germaine is a very caring and compassionate nurse. She demonstrates such a heart for the mothers in the NICU who are having to live through the NICU experience and be separated from their baby for prolonged periods of time. Germaine thought to celebrate NICU mothers in a special way this past Mother's Day. She made personalized gifts with each baby's handprint and with a blooming live plant in a delicate teacup. During a conversation with one of the mothers she said, "it made me feel special" and was grateful for the effort and love she put into making each gift. This is only one example of how Germaine goes above and beyond to make our families feel acknowledged and appreciated.
