Arlene always greeted me with a smile, even when her mask was on you could see the smile in her eyes. Arlene is very compassionate. I could feel her being authentically understanding and supported my needs and feelings. She communicated with me, step-by-step what she was doing. Her gentle touch when removing tape, taking the time with you. I never felt rushed. I explained to her that I knew others had greater needs than mine and didn't want to bother her or other staff to help me out. She told me everyone's needs are important, it didn't matter if someone else's medical situation was worse than someone else; what matters is the needs were met and everyone is important. She told me not to feel bad, best to ask and she will do her best to take care of it. And she did! She was always organized with my medications and very timely. Her nursing skills were extremely professional!
