Nomination #1: Stephanie was very accommodating and knowledgeable.
Nomination #2: Stephanie was very talkative and helpful. Whenever the nurse button was pressed, she was there very quickly, making everything much easier. Despite being uncomfortable, it was much more enjoyable because of her.
Nomination #3: Where do I begin with such a wonderful nurse? Stephanie was our nurse for my grandmother’s stay. We were in a fix to find some additional comfort for her and we were told that the hospital did not have bed wedges for elevation and comfort for her legs and heels. While expressing our concerns to Stephanie, we told her we were going on a hunt to purchase something for her comfort. She told us to wait, and she left. She came back with two pressure boots that helped my grandmother. It was wonderful! I appreciated the extra minutes Stephanie took out of her busy schedule to go that extra mile for us. It really made a difference in my grandmother’s pain level and our concerns.
Stephanie was our comfort through this process because she took the time to explain all the events that took place when she was on shift. She was always there to answer our concerns and questions. The one thing that really helped us was if she did not know how to answer a question or concern, she would go research it to find the answers for us. She treated my grandmother as if she were her own. Stephanie is the true answer to a family’s comfort and care of a patient, and she should be highly applauded. Stephanie, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
