These are a few words to say thank you for your care and support during my stay at Miami Valley Hospital. However, the thought of you doing cartwheels is still a vision that is hard to get out of my head!

Thank you for your caring ways and the way you took care of my heart rather than just going through the motions. Thank you for trying to make me smile during those times when all I wanted to do was give up. Thank you for keeping in touch with my family and updating them on what was happening.

You have a unique gift of caring for the entire patient, not just the medical caring, but also the mental caring to make that person feel special and not just lie in bed wondering what is going to happen next, scared of the strange world around them.

This applies not only to you, Rita, but the entire staff in ICU that had anything to do with my care while I was there. You will always hold a special place in my heart when I think back on this accident and the care and support I received.
