Brock Sanderson provided excellent nursing care for me. He made me feel that he sincerely cared and sympathetic. He kept me and my wife informed regarding my care and changes in medications. He made my stay in the hospital a pleasant experience.
------
I wanted to tell you about a nurse on 6th floor. His name is Brock Sanderson and he works on the southeast pod. I had a patient with mental changes and questions of myocardial infarction. I sent the patient down for CT of the head. I was instructed by Cardiology to give heparin if the CT was negative. The CT did come back negative and I was preparing to write for the heparin. Brock came up to me and asked me if I knew the patient had some bloody stool. The patient is being treated for colitis and was having blood in her stool. It was a great assessment by Brock and he helped me avoid a potential bleeding complication. He did an excellent job in caring for his patient, advocating and assisting me.
