Diannalyn is an exceptionally competent and compassionate nurse whose abilities far outshine the label “a good nurse”. In her role she sets a shining example to all of excellent technical care, and is a role model of the best Sinai has to offer. She frequently interacts with staff: communicating and reeducating as needed, tirelessly, to deliver the best patient care, and keeps staff current in all advanced care treatments and strategies.
Recently Dianna went the extra mile working extremely hard with a very difficult addicted patient who had major wounds. She not only achieved an increased level of wound healing, but also because of her encouragement, this resulted in the patient taking an interest in doing dressing changes and wanting to turn her life around. The patient stopped doing drugs. Dianna is a true example of the outstanding DAISY award nurse: excellent skills, compassionate to patients and staff. She is a strong voice for patients, families and a true leader to staff.

Diannalyn is a compassionate nurse who goes above and beyond the call of duty for her patients. One particular patient had no economic resources for continuance of her wound care, and she helped her secure both equipment and supplies for her continued care. She is kind, even to the most difficult patients, and shows patience and professionalism in all circumstances. She exemplifies all the DAISY attributes: compassion, excellent nursing skills, teamwork and is a strong voice for patients and their families.
