Jenny’s nomination was submitted by her patient’s husband:
We met Jenny when we checked into CoxHealth to have our first child. Since he was our first, as you’d expect - we were nervous. Jenny couldn’t have been nicer. She reassured my wife in a very positive manner. My wife was induced so it took several hours for her to deliver, but Jenny was very patient with all our “first-timer” questions and by the time we were into the final hours of labor she had become a trusted and familiar face.
It was after Jenny’s shift when my wife was ready to deliver but she volunteered to stay and help us through our first delivery so we wouldn’t have a different nurse than we had had all day. This meant a great deal to both my wife and to me.
The day after delivery, Jenny came and checked on us in our room. We couldn’t have asked for a better nurse. CoxHealth is lucky to have such a great person on their staff. We will never forget all she did for us.
