While all of the nurses were attentive and caring during my hospital stay, Caitlin was a stand out nurse. When she walked in, I had visitors over and she made sure to introduce herself and to meet everyone in the room. Before leaving, she asked if she could get me anything to make me feel more comfortable. This is very different from just saying, "call me or press the call button if you need anything". I felt very reassured by her. Because of my C-Section surgery, I had been suffering from some awful abdominal pains due to trapped gas. She encouraged me to walk, but went above and beyond by tracking down some mint tea. Ultimately, that was the only thing that worked to settle my stomach. She let the next nurse know what was going on to make sure I could keep getting the tea. I appreciated Caitlin very much.
