I was confined to my bed, because I was being monitored by camera and an EEG for ten days. On top of that, I was being sleep deprived for twenty hours per day, and had a severe migraine. It was an extremely challenging time to get through.

My nurse, Precious, always had a smile on her face. She encouraged me when I got down. There was an instance when my heart rate went very low. Precious was in my room in a second to find out what was the matter. She told me, "my heart was connected to her." Just the way she said it, made me feel cared about.

In addition, she also said hello to me at the beginning of every shift, and goodbye at the end of every shift. I would not have been able to get through my 10-day stay without her kindness.
