Nomination from patient:
Kelly was able to start my IV with no problem at all which is normally very difficult considering I have been on steroids for many years. It was a special treat for her to come up on the floor to check up on me after I had moved. She is truly a great nurse and one I love to see around. Thank you Kelly.
From coworkers:
*Kelly is not only a blessing to Day Surgery she is one of the “solid rocks” on which we all can build. It is always a joy to see Kelly coming around on the units. She is very willing to use her many skills and talents to help out anywhere. If there is ever a DAISY nurse, it is Kelly. She goes above and beyond in everything she does including committee/subcommittee extras. “Extraordinary Nurse” pretty much says it all!
*Kelly is an extraordinary nurse, coworker and friend. She is a living example of our mission every single day. Kelly knows no boundaries. She has cared for me and family members with compassion and expertise. If help is needed anywhere in the hospital Kelly is the first to volunteer to go. She works one day every week as the receiving nurse but you can look up any day to see her in Cath lab holding, PreAdmit or any floor. She is a true “team player” with a special love for education.
After her work day at Cabrini, Kelly can be found volunteering for church and community. She volunteers weekly at the Free Clinic on Bolton Avenue examining, testing and educating those who need assistance. Kelly makes an incredible difference in the lives of patients, coworkers, friends and family throughout the community. From Critical Care to Ambulatory Kelly serves as a role model to nurses, patients and families whose lives she touched!
