I came into the hospital just about crowning. My sister, my niece and I came storming through the hallway and my sister informed Mary that I was ready to give birth “NOW”. Mary was extremely diligent in getting us set up into a room immediately. She remained very calm and was very soft spoken and compassionate though I was cursing for a doctor. Mary prepped the room within minutes as well as tending to my needs. As I screamed the baby was coming Mary saw his head crowning where she immediately in a calm and collected voice called for the “ER doctor please”. My baby was born less than 15 minutes after my arrival. Mary was beyond wonderful, compassionate, caring, efficient and effective. She continued with this type of service to my needs for the remainder of the night and the following night.

I nominate Mary for the DAISY Award ! I have been honored to work with Mary for approximately 22 years. She is always very compassionate and kind with her patients and her coworkers. She has excellent nursing skills and is always willing to offer a helping hand. I so appreciate her sweet personality as do each and every patient she cares for.
