I just spoke to B - her husband was a patient in 5011 recently (unexpected admission for GI bleed, from Florida I think she said). She had left a message for me and I called her back and she put me on speaker phone so her and her husband could talk to me. He said he said "I was very impressed every step of the way, every one was special, but Heather was the most special." B said Heather went above and beyond and was amazingly helpful when she was a basket case. I have saved the message and would love for Heather to hear it! She made such a tremendous impact on this couple and for someone who was an out of towner, not familiar with Syracuse, Heather made their stay amazing!!!

Thank you Heather, for everything you did for this couple, including I heard from other staff, driving the wife to the airport to drop off their rental car that was due back and driving her back to the hospital.
