When I came to Parkland Hospital, I was very ill. Brandy Danyluk came into my room and explained my illness and my treatment plan. I had pneumonia, flu and an infected toe, pretty much everything. I questioned if I would be getting any better any time soon. I felt emotionally and physically drained.
Brandy would come in and would encourage me, and any sign of improvement she would praise me for it. This helped give me strength and made me realize that "Hey, I am getting better!" She was courteous and explained everything in detail to where I could understand. She made sure I got all my medications at the right time and whenever the night nurse would come in Brandy would explain my condition and treatments I was getting. Overall, Brandy is a wonderful, caring and dedicated nurse, and person as well. I feel better emotionally and physically and I know that my condition is a lot better thanks to Brandy. Thank you for being a fantastic nurse!
