Jessica was nominated by the mother of one of our patients. The following is the heartfelt nomination the DAISY committee received:

Jessica was wonderful and very compassionate. She listened with tears in her eyes when I told her my son had just been told that not only did he need a heart transplant, he also needed a liver transplant. I had just learned this days earlier and was trying to "cope" with this information. She gave excellent care and took my care concerns seriously and was respectful of my needs. You really can't explain compassion like this with words.
