Rachael is one of the most compassionate, sincere and kind individuals I have ever worked with. She always goes the extra mile for her patients and their families. It is obvious to all of us how much she enjoys her job and loves to care for her patients. Rachael has a calming and soothing way about her. It is a pleasure to work with her each day, whether she is in charge or STAT. She is always the first to jump up and help her co-workers in any way she can. She genuinely cares, not only about her patients, but also their families and her co-workers. Rachael spearheaded the Relaxation and Mindfulness Meditation Sessions. These sessions promote awareness and stress relief for families and staff. We have seen great success with this on 5SE and it is now going house-wide. This is just one of the examples of how much compassion Rachael brings to our unit.
