We had a patient that was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. John became her champion and treated her with such kindness and compassion. On his last day with her, John arranged his schedule to have some extra time with this patient. He took her on a walk through the hospital to the lake and the gardens outside. This gave her a great boost in confidence and helped give her the resolve to fight this awful diagnosis. Her disposition changed dramatically and she will be grateful for a long time. John was her nurse for 4 days. We are so proud of John for the gentle and compassionate care he's shown this patient.
