My husband and I have had a roller coaster ride of medical nightmares. Most recently my husband had a stroke. Imagine thinking that your husband's heart has been fixed and then comes a stroke. We were very concerned and scared. Was he ever going to be able to speak better? Was he going to be able to walk with our grandchildren? Is he going to live? Why was he so emotional? He cried and was so sad. Michelle came to our room and immediately recognized our need for emotional support. Michelle not only provided the nursing tasks required for his care, she took the time to sit down, hold his hand, and actually talk to us. I'm sure she had a million other things to do but she chose to spend time with us, to reassure us that we weren't alone in this recovery. She was an angel sent from above at a time of need.
