Barb is an outstanding registered nurse and deserves recognition for delivering superb patient care. She never appeared hurried and was always professional, attentive, and responsive to patient needs. My husband was impressed with her understanding and management of his extensive medications and pain management. There was never a delay in receiving pain medication and she got him up and walking in a timely fashion. Although she was obviously busy, she managed it so well, we felt she was a private nurse. One of the keys to her success, is her ability to communicate clearly to the patient what she was going to do and when she was going to do it. I was impressed that she was totally focused on her job and seemed to be aware of every patient's labs, vital signs, medications and medical needs. With medical care so diffused among a variety of medical personnel, it is impressive that Barb took total responsibility for her patients.
