On a very busy day in Outpatient Surgery PACU, Leann stepped up to the plate to help 3 PACU RN's in a great time of need. We had 3 high acuity patients and were at the time, stretched very thin. Leann took time from her busy day to help us settle all of our patients. She continued to help by emptying urinary catheter bags of patients on continuous bladder irrigation as well as providing a calming presence for all of our patients in the PACU. She came in at just the right time not only for the patients, but for us, the nurses. Her actions exemplified selflessness and did not go unnoticed! Leann is an amazing asset here at St. Vincent and we are proud to have her as a co-worker.
