During my stay on 6 N/S I had the pleasure of having Ashley Matos as my nurse. She went above and beyond for me and my family in a number of ways. Her customer service was outstanding. She came upon me one morning crying and she took the time out to sit with me and console me. She spoke positive thoughts to me. She also sat with me and my family and talked about my situation and helped us get in touch with my doctor to discuss different options. She encouraged us to visit the healing garden as a family to make my stay as normal as possible for me and my children. She encouraged me to take advantage of the services of aroma therapy and Reiki therapies as another alternative of stress relief during my stay. She always went out of her way to speak with me and check in on me even when she was not assigned to me as my nurse. I felt as if I made a friend during my stay. Even once I was discharged and came back to visit my daughter in the NICU she went out of her way to welcome us and get updates on our situation. She made such a difference during this time for me and my family.
