Brittany knows how to treat coworkers, patients and visitors with respect. She is truly here for the patients and meeting their needs. She turns negative situations into opportunities. She works hard to go above and beyond for patients.

Brittany keeps the doctors up to date with patients. She connects quickly with the patient and their family making them feel safe. I have seen Brittany console a family as though it was her own as well as going door to door promoting healing in their bodies and mind. The compassion this woman shows in the midst of terrible circumstances is sometime the determining factor in precarious situations.

Brittany is very organized and thinks things through before making a decision. She has a great relationship with everyone she works with. She creates an infrastructure of team work so that almost all barriers are met with a solution. She makes me feel safe/secure enough to know I can do my job without worries.

There came a time when we were short a nurse, end of shift, had patients coming from the ED. She took the patients herself instead of piling them on other nurses. I saw Brittany develop a relationship with a sweet old woman who desperately needed affection. This woman screamed in Brittany's face for 20 minutes (suffering from dementia) while the team and Brittany sang to her to console her.
