My mother was admitted through the ER on a Saturday for pain control. She could not sit or walk and was scheduled to have a pain block on Monday at the surgery center. Thomas was the nurse on Sunday and started the process in finding a way to get my mother to the surgery center from the hospital. Tosha's shift started at 7 pm on Sunday, taking over for Thomas. Thomas transitioned the transport problem to her. She arranged to keep a stretcher on the floor and she and the nurse who came in at 7 am (do not know her name) personally pushed the stretcher through the hospital to the surgery center located behind the hospital. Talk about going above and beyond and wonderful patient care. Tosha stayed past her shift to make this happen. Words cannot describe how heartwarming it is to witness such dedication in taking care of a patient in need.
