Although Anthony is no longer a bedside nurse, his commitment to patients and putting them first and foremost is constantly shown through his actions. He is an excellent role model for his peers and all he comes in contact with. His bubbly, warm personality and kindness are constantly shown on a daily basis. Staff members from all departments are always stopping by his office to seek advice or be educated on various subjects. He is always willing to help and never too busy for anyone. He is willing to go the extra mile to help out in any department or event if needed and he also volunteers at the Good Shepherd free medical clinic after work on a regular basis. He is passionate and dedicated to this hospital and to his profession as a nurse. I have the privilege of not only working with him in the quality department but also having his friendship throughout the years. He has been a tremendous help to me in my role as a nurse analyst in this department. In my opinion, Anthony Lawson is a wonderful example of what nursing is, and is an extraordinary nurse.
