Coughing and sneezing is infectious - but so is laughing and smiling. Keisha Wilson effortlessly brings forth the latter of the two. She wears a smile and can be heard laughing throughout her shift. She shows compassion and caring with a sense of lightheartedness to all her patients. Recently, Keisha was repeatedly assigned to a 23 year old patient L.M. She was unable to perform her ADLs due to her brain injury. Despite providing the routine a.m. and p.m. care, Keisha would make time to detangle her long thick red hair. What a beautiful change to L.M.'s appearance. Keisha would also effortlessly spend time talking with L.M.'s family. She was trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together for what events led to her hospitalization. Keisha is truly an asset to the CTICU and is always a pleasure to work alongside. It is delightful to spend your shift with someone who keeps a smile on her face and everyone else's too.
