She spent lots of time answering questions and taking her time making sure Mom and baby were comfortable. We are so happy that she was there to take care of our son. One of her physician colleagues voiced this recognition for Chris' attention to safety and excellent clinical care with this nomination, "Chris identified an emergent umbilical cord prolapse and called for help immediately while holding the baby off the umbilical cord. She remained on the bed keeping pressure off the prolapsed umbilical cord (even under the sterile dressing in the OR). Largely because of Chris the baby and mother had great outcomes."
