Every time I had Janet as my nurse for the day, she is always friendly and kind, with a smile every time I see her or she comes into my room to assist me with something I need. She has never made me feel like she is bothered with the fact that I could call her too often to obtain heart tones. She also tries to go the extra mile to help me feel comfortable (even when PCT is busy she has helped me with changing the bed and even adding an air mattress when I was having back pain) while I am staying here waiting for baby to arrive. She shares little stories of her sweet puppies while coming in to give meds or when she was off for a few days and I ask how her days off where, sharing little moments of her life. Even on days where it doesn't work out that she is my nurse for that day, she comes to say hi to me and just see how I am doing and lets me know if I need anything to just let her know. I feel like she deserves a DAISY Award for always making you feel important and going above the expectations of being a nurse - she has become a friend.
