I have just spent 47 days at HUP after open-heart surgery. While I had several wonderful nurses, Nessie stands out from all the rest. Her calm demeanor and quiet confidence put me at ease. Nessie's attentiveness and reassurances allowed me to focus on healing. She always explained what she was doing and how it would help.
The first two nights I had Nessie, I believe helped me turn the corner. She is very kind, respectful, positive and knowledgeable. Just knowing she was there was reassuring, she was never in a rush. She gave me the time and assistance to wash my hands after using the bathroom. It was clear that she truly cared. I am grateful for her excellent care.
