Vanessa was my nurse when I was admitted with double pneumonia and possible blood clots and CHF. This came out of nowhere, so I was scared and freaking out, as was my family. I felt she was truly my health care advocate.
She told me exactly what and how to ask for concerning my health care and pain management. I know she had other patients, but she made me feel like the only patient on the floor. She alleviated my fears and concerns with her calm, professional, caring and funny demeanor.
