Let me start by saying it's not easy being a 10 day old and in the hospital. I'm still new to this world and I'm still adjusting. I'm thankful for every nurse I've had and every PICC line team member, even when they had to poke me, and made me cry. I'm thankful for my doctors and especially my NPs.
However, Ms. AJ has been a huge help to my Mom and Dad in several ways. She gave them a better understanding of different types of seizures. Before her talking to them they were pretty anxious about what was going on with me. Every time she walked in the room she always joked and had them laughing. It's hard for all of us to be away from home, but I know Ms. AJ helped them get through this long week by being the best nurse to me and a social butterfly to them. I will always be grateful for everyone, especially sweet Ms. AJ! She doesn't know that just by her talking to my parents last night and keeping them a little distracted made their day/night! My Mom and Dad mean the world to me. So, thank you, Ms. AJ.
