My mom came to IMU by way of the ER due to a car accident. During her first night in IMU, Patrick ensured that she was well taken care of and took the time to listen to her concerns. His attentiveness absolutely saved her life. She had to have surgery due to a subdural hematoma. Thanks to Patrick's attentiveness, knowledge of his patient and rapid responses, she was quickly treated. I am unsure of all the events of that morning but I do know she was in surgery very quickly after her first symptoms. Not only did Patrick take wonderful care of my mom while she was in IMU, but he also continued to check on her while she was in ICU. From what I understand, he also checked on her on his days off, that is going above and beyond what is expected of his position! Our family cannot thank Patrick enough for what he did for our mom and the care he gave her.
