I would like to take a moment to thank Travis Miller for being so compassionate to my Mother-In-Law. Compassion is Key in any health care profession for without it you lack patience and kindness to properly care for your patient. Travis was very caring and kind and went out of his way to make sure that my Mother-In-Law felt safe and comfortable.
Having a seizure, she is sometimes afraid when she is not around familiar faces. Travis made sure he was never loud when he came in the room in the middle of the night, he never flipped the bright light on in her face as not to startle her. He was very careful with her and as her family we appreciate that very much! Travis truly has what it takes to be a kind, compassionate nurse.
My Mother-In-Law said he was so good to her. There were other good caregivers to her as well, but Travis stood out when going that extra mile to make sure she felt safe and comfortable. Any hospital would be fortunate to have Travis. I wish there were more like him. We are truly grateful to have had such a pleasant stay and mostly because of him. We felt safe with him taking care of her.
PS: All the staff on this side on the 7th Floor were so sweet to my Mother-In-Law. Thank you.
