I will do my best to account for the effort that Lillian helped my mother and I this past weekend. Please understand that I am an Engineer by trait who will be the first to avoid any composition work. I am blessed that Lillian was assigned to my mother this weekend. Her energy and effort I can only begin to highlight.
I had a major obstacle to overcome with having my mother treated in a hospital, initially she denied all medical attention. Lillian was able to create a bond and provide support for someone with an addiction and in need of attention. How she was able to provide this care and maintain the rest of her patient duties I do not know or cannot begin to imagine. Every time that I came to visit with my mother, Lillian immediately provided me with the report on her condition, with insight into her well-being. Her effort to answer all my questions in these times of need cannot be expressed with my gratitude enough.
One of Lillian's strongest qualities was her diligence to make sure that I was able to speak with the attending physicians. She coordinated in providing the recommendations of all the correct tests to evaluate her condition. Lillian provided me with ways to plan for her continued treatment and offered insight into my loss in dealing with her situation. It would be a monumental task to write an essay on Lillian in so short a time and space. I hope I have conveyed her main exemplary qualities that need to be recognized. Her attitude will be forever remembered by me and my mother.
