Sarah Neverman is one of the greatest nurses I have ever had the pleasure of working beside. She truly goes above and beyond the call of duty and works hard to demonstrate our FOCUS Values with each and every patient. When Sarah walks into a patient room, the kindness, thoughtfulness, and interest in her patient's welfare are almost palpable. She genuinely wants to help and see her patients heal.
Sarah consistently surpasses the compassion and skill considered to be "standard" with ER nurses and she very rarely takes any credit. While all ER nurses are dedicated to their jobs, this particular nurse stands out.
Sarah demonstrates outstanding patient care with extraordinary bedside skills, though her compassion extends well beyond the bedside. She has an amazing ability to connect with families and is a strong advocate for her patients.
Sarah's ability to connect with a patient is unlike any I have seen before. I have personally seen her laugh, joke and even cry with her patients. On more than one occasion I have watched patients' fears and apprehension seemingly drain from their faces when Sarah introduces herself. She creates powerful human connections in those with whom she comes in contact and her compassion is not easily forgotten by her patients, by their families, or especially by those of us who are lucky enough to work with her day-in and day-out.
Sarah exudes an outstanding commitment to what she does each day.
