I had surgery on both of my feet due to diabetic issues and an infection. While I was hospitalized, I was also closing on the sale of my house in Tucson. Just as I was ready to be discharged, I discovered that my insurance was unable to locate a company to provide the home care that I needed. This meant I had to spend another night in the hospital and would miss the closing of my Tucson home. The Title company told me that I could execute a Durable Power of Attorney and appoint my wife to sign the closing documents, but I would need a notary to witness this process.
This is where Veronica demonstrated great leadership and contacted her leader and drove the effort forward to find an in-house notary to witness the Power of Attorney. In the end, Veronica kept all the parties motivated and I was able to sign the paperwork for the sale of my house through my wife. Veronica made the situation so much better. She is truly an angel.
