Over the last few years, due to family health issues, I have been in and out of multiple hospitals. During these stays and procedures, we have come into contact and dealt with many physicians, nurses, and staff. I also am the father of two daughters, both RNs. I must say that Kattie is by far one of the finest nurses and professionals that we have dealt with. Her kindness, attention, and overall friendly demeanor are rarely demonstrated at such a high level. She truly deserves this recognition without a doubt.

Kattie showed great compassion and patience with my mom during her stay at Toledo Hospital after her stroke. She made my mom laugh when we worked with her during assessments. At one point, my mom adopted her, and she became the favorite in the family. Kattie is a phenomenal nurse!

Kattie was my mom's nurse for most of her stay at Toledo. Kattie was very gentle with my mom (she had a stroke) from the moment she was admitted to her floor. She moved my mom with gentleness and listened to her needs. She was always happy to make my mom comfortable, never upset even if it was the 3rd time in an hour. Her knowledge of stroke victims and side effects was phenomenal and she took the time to explain everything to us when we asked. Knowing Kattie was her nurse at night gave us all peace of mind. Kattie is a huge asset to your hospital and a true DAISY Nurse.
