Alyssa was an exemplary example of what caring for a patient is. From her wide knowledge and precision to her loving and caring for my family and me, Alyssa was by far one the best things about my recent stay at BSW. I came in for surgery and had Alyssa as my night RN for three nights and I feel so blessed to have been her patient. It is not the best situation to be in, but she made my stay at BSW bearable and I am happy to have been able to meet her. She made us feel cared for, heard, loved, and taken care of. One specific night during my stay, I had an awfully painful and rough night. I was experiencing so much pain and was unsure how I would have been able to handle the pain. She made sure to check in on my wife and I constantly, making sure we had everything we needed for the night. Not only was she attentive in producing me with medications and care that she could, but she took her time to listen to me which was the most important. She truly was our Blue Angel, and we want her to be recognized for her amazing dedication as an RN. She is still so young, and early in her career and we are sure that she will positively impact her patients in the many years to come. We have been forever changed for the better!
