Khara's personality was warm, peaceful, and assuring. Her knowledge was exemplary as she exceeded all the necessary requirements of this award. Unfortunately, I have had numerous hospitalizations over the past few years due to serious conditions and my admittance to this hospital was necessitated through the ER, admitting me to the floor prior to a holiday my family celebrates in December. Nurses are always qualified to attend patients in these hospitals, but it takes a certain personality to rise above simple medical procedure and protocol.
Khara exhibited that caring nature as she followed up on lab work and hustled to get me the necessary information I needed to decide on my own care, that may allow me to be dismissed prior to my family gathering. She even offered to stand beside me during a very uncomfortable procedure, all the while performing her other duties. She then escorted my family and me to the car when I was released. I appreciate all she did!
