After our 4 am huddle in the ED, Jody noticed a MHU patient who didn't want to go back to her room despite several other staff members' attempts. Jody took the time out of her busy morning to walk the patient around the unit for at least 30 minutes. She talked with the patient, exchanged stories and made the patient laugh. She then proceeded to play music for the patient which made the patient happy and comfortable. Jody spent at least an hour with this patient. Jody is an amazing person and nurse. I was truly heartwarming to watch.
