We had a patient that was admitted after falling and fracturing a hip on the way to deliver flowers to the church her husband's funeral was to be held. The patient and her husband had been married for over 50 years. The day of admission was also the day of the viewing and Frankie went above and beyond to make sure the patient had a wheelchair and was able to get to the viewing on time.
The next day was the day of the funeral, and Frankie again went above and beyond, buying the patient a card and flowers on her way into work. For the funeral, Frankie took upon herself to buy the patient some essentials to make sure she was comfortable during her time away from the hospital. Frankie provided extraordinary compassionate care to the patient and her family.
