During a recent stay at Crouse for a total knee replacement, I had the good fortune to have Telah as one of my exceptional nurses. I was a bit apprehensive going into the surgery and had serious concerns about the results. My fears were soon alleviated after meeting Telah. I am still not sure if it was her smile, her knowledge, her confidence, her personality or a combination of all but I knew immediately that the recovery was going to be fine because I was in good hands. Telah was also comforting and responded to each call to the nurse's station without hesitation. Telah never said, "I care about you" but you could feel her compassion by the genuine interest she had in my recovery. I certainly appreciated that attitude. Did she "save" my life? No. But to me, she was that Extraordinary Nurse who helped me through a painful time and made my stay at Crouse believe in your commercials.
The TV states "They care about you." I can speak personally how true that is.
