Lindsay was recognized by a patient she cared for during his stay in the Nampa Hospital. The patient and his wife recognized Lindsay for her "thoughtful, patient and calm" demeanor. The patient had been admitted for emergent surgery and Lindsay was his nurse for his first three days of care. The couple shared the following comments, "Lindsay treated us like we were her only and most important patient. She talked to us as people, taking a personal interest in our real lives, which was a nice distraction, for sure."
The couple especially noted how Lindsay "took the time to explain everything, why and how." They loved that she had a "positive outlook and sunny disposition, EVERY DAY!" They added, "She has truly been like an angel on earth" and "we absolutely adore her!"
Lindsay is also a wonderful support to her fellow staff. One of Nampa's Med/Surg SME's said "Lindsay is always willing to help. She checks with her cohorts to see if they need anything. Her quirky sense of humor keeps us all guessing."
Lindsay is a wonderful example of excellence in patient-centered care. It is through daily efforts, and extraordinary dedication, that we are able to serve our community in the manner it deserves.
