This is my third time at the PICU and I must say they all have been great experiences of service. However, this last time Nurse Dianne went well beyond and went an extra degree. From helping my son brush his teeth to showing him how the stethoscope works and how she listens to his lungs so he can get better, to even why she wears gloves. The experience has been great. Dianne took it further and allowed my little man to understand why he is here and when he will be leaving. I want this to express my gratitude for the job she does and has done with us. Thank you!

Dianne Crabtree, RN, has been a nurse for 6 years. She went to nursing school on a full scholarship and attended Miami Dade College. She is currently pursuing my BSN at West Coast University. Prior to coming to Nicklaus Children's she worked as an adult medical-surgical, and adult oncology nurse. She joined the NCH PICU team in July of 2016.
