One of my close friends was at Mercy and knew I was in the hospital. I didn't want her to visit me due to being in isolation and for fear of her getting sick. Rachel noticed that my friend was walking out of the hospital. I texted my friend to look up from the parking lot. Rachel helped me by waving signs around to get her attention and it worked! It was nice to see my close friend even if it was through the window. It was the most fun I'd had in a while.

Rachel Kipper cared for our mother. My brothers, sisters and I really appreciate the compassionate and professional care that she gave to her and us. She was attentive to our needs and always cheerful. For example, there was some confusion on whether I gave the correct current prescription info to the hospital when my mother was in the ER. Rachel confirmed the info to put me at ease. Rachel was very patient with not only my mother but with family members who are not familiar with medical terms and medical decisions.
