Kimberly Ferguson has always gone above and beyond for the patients. Even though her specialty is wound care, she never hesitates to help any patient that needs help. She delegates when appropriate or helps patients to the bathroom when they call, and no one is around to help. She knows the true value of safety and protecting our patients.
Kimberly is also one of the best educators I have seen. She takes as much time as needed for the patient to understand and be comfortable with their issue. Kimberly also embraces the family atmosphere in the hospital. She helps organize baby showers, birthdays, potlucks, etc. She is more than willing to educate nurses on anything needed. She has a lot of experience and shares her knowledge even if it's unrelated to wound care. We love Kimberly in IMU!
