On Saturday I was "call" with Mary Ann when we had a young boy come in for surgery. His parents were very worried, overwhelmed and emotional. Even though we had two other patients and families, Mary Ann took the time to talk with them, reassure them and offer them food and drinks while they waited to see their son again. She is always so kind, empathetic, and caring. Great role model! I would want Mary Ann taking care of my family.

I've had many MRIs that have resulted in migraines. She's the first person who didn't think I was "drug seeking" and treated the patient. She called the doctor 4 different times until she was satisfied that I was feeling better. Thank you, Mary Ann, for your compassion.
